Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Ramyr Joseph Panal Pascual, doing business as Dotstudioz ("Dotstudioz", "Arlo", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit arlotv.ai, use the Arlo chat interface, or integrate with our API or Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.

What we collect

Information you provide

When you sign in, contact us, or sign up for a paid plan, we collect: name, email address, company name, and any free-form messages you send. If you pay for a plan, your payment provider (Stripe) collects billing details on our behalf; we never see your full card number.

Information collected automatically

• Your queries to Arlo (the natural-language prompts you type into chat).
• Anonymous identifiers (cookies / device tokens) used to keep your session continuous and to attribute referral clicks to the streaming services you choose.
• Standard request metadata: IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamps.
• Click-through and watch events when you tap a result card. These are logged so we can show streaming platforms (our paying customers) the traffic Arlo sent them.

Information from third parties

We use Watchmode and partner streaming catalogs to learn what titles exist and where they stream. That data is about the titles, not about you.

How we use it

• Run the product: search the catalog, return recommendations, route you to the right platform via deep link.
• Improve the product: tune our embeddings and ranking on aggregated, de-identified query patterns.
• Bill our B2B customers (streaming platforms) on per-click and per-verified-watch usage.
• Detect abuse and rate-limit malicious traffic.

How we share it

We share only what's necessary, with only these categories:

• Streaming platforms you choose to visit. When you tap a result card, your browser is redirected to that platform. We pass an anonymous tracking parameter so the platform can attribute the click to Arlo. We do not pass your name, email, or query.
• Service providers. Vercel (hosting), Supabase (auth), Pinecone (vector search), OpenAI and Anthropic (embeddings + LLM inference), Stripe (billing), Monday (CRM), Sentry (error logs). Each operates under their own terms.
• Legal compliance. If compelled by a valid subpoena, court order, or equivalent legal process.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share your queries with the streaming platforms whose titles we recommend.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these, email privacy@dotstudioz.com.

California residents: you can opt out of any "sale" or "share" of personal information under the CCPA via the same address. We currently do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

EEA / UK residents: our lawful bases for processing are (i) consent, where you have given it, (ii) performance of a contract, where you are using the product, and (iii) legitimate interests in running, securing, and improving the service. You may withdraw consent or object at any time.

Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and for up to 24 months thereafter. We retain query logs for up to 12 months in identifiable form, then aggregate or delete. Billing records are retained as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).

Security

We use industry-standard transport encryption (TLS), encryption at rest where supported by our providers, scoped API keys, and routine audits of access. No system is perfectly secure; report anything suspicious to security@dotstudioz.com.

Children

Arlo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email privacy@dotstudioz.com and we will delete it.

Changes

We'll update this page when our practices change and bump the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email.
